Actually - rates in LA and SD seem to be about the same as Atl,
sometimes lower. Most of the insanely high rates of the dot com boom
are gone. You might still find some out of wack rates here and there,
but even in places like SF I think they are moving in line with the
rest of the country.
When Kevin Newling came out and presented it to ACFUG in 1999(?), it

cycle I noted that one of my
accounts not only wouldn't allow passwords longer than 8 chars, but
only allowed letters and numbers (no special chars), AND was not case
sensitive! This is a huge banking company - I just don't get that at
all...

not going to be much help. I've never really used
CFINPUT and favor using a JS lib for things like this instead. If you
continue to have trouble, you might consider that too.
