- IT Project Management focuses on projects that involve servers, network and desktop infrastructure.
-The IT Project Manager oversees multiple projects
-This role is responsible for project planning, status reporting, risk management,

-The IT Project Manager is expected to establish and implement consistent project management methodology and tools to ensure business unit projects are completed within time and budget constraints.
-Projects vary in size and complexity. Projects may be limited to North America or span many or
all regions, including the UK, Europe, South Africa, Asia Pacific and Latin America.

Duties include:
-working with technical teams to facilitate planning design, assembling project team, assigning individual tasks and responsibilities, generation of schedules to ensure timely completion of projects, setting expectations with key stakeholders, communicating project status and issues to team and management, acting to reduce risk and resolve issues.
-The IT Project Manager may also coordinate with other projects and work groups within the PMO, business and IT organizations within Experian.

-Minimum 5 years in a Project Manager role
-PMP Certification is preferred
-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related technical field,
or equivalent work experience
-Demonstrated skills in developing and monitoring detailed project plans using the PMI
project methodology, and use of project management methodology tools, including software
-Experience driving change and managing expectations via proactive communication,
prioritization and scope management
-Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills, organizational and time management
skills
-Strong knowledge of computer systems, computer networks, mainframe, mid-range,
distributed systems and PC Desktop Applications

The project/application is :
-WebCat is a highly available E-commerce application that services the motor-carrier trucking industry in terms of credentials (license plates, cab-cards, etc) and fleet management. It is 14 years old now and we are in the process

DTMB is partnered with Evan’s Caseload to provide a modernized environment that also includes a Terradata data warehouse utilizing Business Objects and HP-TRIM. This highly visible project within the department requires a senior project manager to be successful in the implementation of a multi-vendor solution. The candidate will provide senior project management for the DIFS OBASE Modernization project completed by DTMB on behalf of Michigan Department of Insurance and Financial Services , ensuring that work performed adheres to State of Michigan standard methodologies.
Skills Required:
Documented experience in performing Project Management, Quality Management, or other critical functions within complex Information Technology projects (preferably with budgets greater than $1,000,000 and multi-phase, multiyear implementations).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrable presentation and facilitation skills are necessary for this position.
Demonstrated skills in MS Project, MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, required.
Preferred 3 years demonstrated experience with project and system development methodologies.
Demonstrated leadership ability in complex projects invo1ving multiple vendors and in-house resources within all levels of an organization.
Preferred professional certification in Project Management, such as Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
