Hello!
I'm still using ARS 6.3. Is there a way to copy the groups names
visible in the User Tool into another Tool via Workflow or do I really
have to start a bunch of queries to the DB to figure out the Group
name behind the ID?
The backgroud of my question is:

Hi Mark,
One way is to have a filter pull the Group Name from the Group Form into

I'm assuming you are talking about two different Remedy forms, and even
if you aren't, yes, this is very feasible. I can't explain the whole
process...it's better that you use the example in the Remedy manual
because there are many details in the process.

Hi Tadeu,
Are you trying to pick up the real names of the Group List field and put them

Yes. But would prefer not to ask the Group form Group-ID after Group-

Hi Prashanth
First a caveat - I do not use ITSM7/CMDB and am not familiar with its inner
workings.
It looks to me as though the CMDB application is in a deployable application
and the message is saying that permissions must be assigned through Roles,
rather than through regular groups.
HI,
Here is the details about the Group ID Range.
Group ID

Michael, that password I believe is for the ARAdmin account. I went

One of the main reasons we went to 7.1 is to take advantage of

Actually I think when you change the password in the Admin tool it will
change the password on the database for the ARAdmin account.
You are correct that SA is only used during the install. Our DBAs do
not let us know the SA password (When we do an install/upgrade they

I believe this can be classified as somewhat Off Topic so here goes. I
have a web service that I am consuming on Submit to Form A. This web
services creates a record in another system and Remedy receives a ticket

I've seen with webservices if there is an error creating a record, and
the transaction is rolled back, the nextid in arschema table is still
been updated. So you loose a requestid.

Does this filter that create this web service exist in a Filter Guide that

Mark,
Why push attachments and create dups? You could copy attachment table in
