hands on experience with the last two versions of Smart IT and this current
version is going to be what we go live with. However, I have a few

I would build a staging form to update the People data from the spreadsheet,
which should be sucked into your custom staging form by Atrium Integrator. I
would make sure whoever maintains that spreadsheet agrees to keep everything in
a specific format and use values that only exist in Remedy
If you need to do it retroactively, couldn't you use the AR System User
Preferences form's Modified Date? I'm not entirely sure if it would work 100%
of the time but I would investigate that as an option.

your situation though, I don't see the harm in having MyIT installed but
unused. It doesn't seem to take up that much space and resources, sort of like
that purchasing functionality in Asset Management

to import into MyIT but it would have to be maintained separately to keep MyIT

It looks like we found a defect in the combination of ARS and Mid-Tier 8.1.2.
It is happening with both IE9 and IE11.
What happened is that after upgrading the mid-tier, we started seeing this
warning at the top of the screen:
IE is running in Compatibility View. Please remove Mid-tier URL
Look at it as you have Service Desk licenses and SRM licenses. Both use AR
System and common data, but both have different entry points and licenses.
