It's not what you want because it's colour, but my HLL3230CDW laser
printer works well, apart from having to wake it up to get it to work
with Chromium. If I save the file as PDF it prints fine from Okula.

camera driver, so maybe you need to visit the Launchpad site to see if
there is anything relevant to your particular problem. A quick search
using the term 'webcam' came up with a confirmed bug:

trying to find the hardware that i needed. It has a known bug.
You shouldn't need to know where the program is stored; just the command
to launch it. Since you say that it works from the command line, then
you should have enough to get it to wo

select 'New Item'. Then fill in the blanks including the command that
launches the program.
To do it as a Widget you need the Widget 'QuickLaunch' installed then
simply right-click within the QuickLaunch area and proceed as with the
main App Launcher.

using about the MTD bug. At least one launchpad contributor says
that this error will not stop the system booting, but on this machine, I
never get past that message, which is repeated three times at the
beginning of the boot cycle.

According to Thunderbird, ( my recent email client of choice), the list
has three copies of the response I made to Peter Merchant. These are
time stamped at 09:43, 09:47 and 09:48 and all apparently from 'Me
'. I see none from 'Terry Coles

I just tried Fedora 36 live and the multimedia keys work fine in RhythmBox.
The problem is that with the ephemeral nature of the fault, I can't be sure
that this is the problem, although I must say it is likely.

It's looking like we'll get the Model that I mentioned. My birthday is 2-3

A thought. While I was struggling yesterday with the apparent IP Address
conflict, (which
was b

occasionally use a laptop
on site, but only to ssh into devices and that works of course.

iginally chosen to give the Visitor 2
minutes to work out what to do initially and 2 hours on site before he had to
reconnect.
I also have an intermittent issue connecting to the WiFi in the first place, so
I may be back :-)
