there is no way of making them play non vibrato, and their vibrato is

For what it is worth, I just reloaded the same file, and now it plays
back without the crash. Weird.
It is possible that the other time my MIDI keyboard wasn't connected,
but this is unlikely...

Are the affected notes under a slur? If not, set HP to Incorporate
Data (velocity), then try using the MIDI tool to increase the
velocity of the notes in the affected passage. This will give you
more heavily articulated notes, which should help them sound even
when the notes
