chmoji replacements

Hi All, OK, I can't do it. Tried the emoji keyboard before, after, all sorts of ways. iPad air first generation, in an iMessage, IOS10. I tried messages like I love pizza, still out cold, sleeping, etc. I did, however, braille all this on braille screen input, and, was using proper punctuation.

Regarding the rotor, I just tried something and it worked every time. It involves the use of two hands, so you would have to have the phone lying flat on the table. You can take the thumb of each hand and slide each one a different way, the left thumb going left and the right thumb going right.
