Sorry but for the price of a used PZ-1p you can get a Minolta 700si. Has a real vertical grip which holds real AA batteries, plus controls. And if you put the Minolta in single AF mode I doubt you could tell much difference regardless of the light. Plus you get the nice Omni-directional
