defined them per side of the cube. Also if you use the same normal for a vertex shared
by several polygons, you get the smooth gouraud shading effect (gouraud is on by

object of about 80.000 triangles with java3d. More triangles than that and
java3d runs out of memory (does anyone know how to increase alotted

A Box, Cylinder, Cone, or any other class that extends Primitive (which
extends Group, by the way) is a collection of Shape3Ds. It cannot be
directly converted to a Shape3D.
In the case of a Box, it is made up of six seperate Shape3Ds. To retrieve
them, you call Box.getShape(int), using these
implemented this yet. Good luck.

I think that you can use Applet.getCodeBase(), which will return a URL for
the location of the applet. Then, you can add the rest of the URL onto that
and use Applet.getImage(). For example:
URL u = new URL(getCodeBase() + "/img.jpg");
You can only call this from applet methods such as init(
