I tried to look at some of the archived postings
at http://angelfire.lycos.com/electronic/protelarchive
that Ian Wilson set up, but it doesn't seem to be
working. The thread date view lead to http:///.
Is this just temporary?

IEEE 315A was replaced by IEEE 315 (with 315A as a
supplement) and is available from Global Engineering

By the way, Alan, how is the chad in New Zealand? (sorry, I
could not resist)

Hi,
I'm going to layout a board that will be using the same basic layout
as a 72 pin SIMM board and am looking for dimensional data for
this type of board. Anyone have a sheet they can fax or e-mail
me or a know of a web address with the info?
Thanks,

There was a 54 page user's manual in PDF format
on their web site http://www.camtastic.com/en/
If it's not there anymore I could send you a copy.

We also use AutoCAD. I generally freeze layers that
I don't need to see to speed up screen redraws.
Most of the board houses we have used like to receive
HPGL plot files which AutoCAD does a great job on.

component on a frozen layer.
We use to use a schematic capture/PCB layout software
program that rode on top of AutoCAD before switching
to Protel and so far I've found AutoCAD is still the
best option for board and assembly documentation.

Is this forum working. I've received only one posting
since 4/18. The silence is deafening.

I agree. Several of our board houses have asked about
ODB+ format.
