We've already defined our own namespace for several things, and we'll
continue to "embrace and extend" RSS in a way that doesn't break
anything, at least for the benefit of our partners and people who write

Jeroen makes a very good flash video player that actually serves as the basis
for blip's player. His new player can subscribe to rss feeds and he is demoing
this capability by subscribing to the main blip feed on his site.

The issue with 15/30fps is not just file size. CPU utilization is also
a concern. H.264 and On2 VP6 (Flash 8 video) are extremely
CPU-intensive, and other codecs are as well but to a lesser extent.
Going from 15 to 30 fps doubles your CPU utilization on decompression.

Hey Nicolas,
The short answer is "you bet." We actually released ipod transcoding a
week or so ago, but we pulled it back because many of our users already
upload ipod-compatible videos and there was concern about duplication of
effort and end-user confusion. We're planning to bring the feature

I bypassed this by coding height="360" and width="480" into the jpg, but that

I don't think that's the problem so much. 3g2 is a newer format, and I'd

I agree with Lucas on this one, sull, at least insomuch as I disagree

I don't believe that contests necessarily have to be zero-sum. If
there's adequate promotional opportunity for all participants (or at
