OK, this gets a bit sticky for me I work
on the side as a sales geek for electro-comm and therefore sell this gear.
Apply appropriate grain of salt.
*I* use this gear in my network because it's priced
well and it works. They get away with such low pricing because it's using
the Atheros

First off, don't. Mesh is all the rage
today. Just like hotspots were a couple of years ago. Mesh and muni
are often rolled out in the same sentence. Show me ONE that's working
correctly past the 6 to 12 month stage..
Having said that, you can still give them the same
functionality.
Hi All,
For those that think it's no big deal to not fill this out. Please read
the note below from Ellen Burton with the FCC. She's in charge of this
form.
Guys, they are making this as easy as they can for us. I think we have
nothing to gain and much to loose by being a PITA.

Marlan,
I opened it using Excel and saved it. The Excel file is attached.

Not sure about the logo, my guess is, no. Has
to be the whole wispa logo, not just part of it.
I know Bob (if it's the same Bob Smith), he's a
good guy.

That last joke you sent me want funny! I'd

Anyhow, which show you should go to really depends
on what you want to do. If I had my way I'd go to ALL of them. They
ALL have something to offer if you're willing to listen and

It doesn't seem to make much difference if it's 1
mile away or 1' away :-). We have a site that has 4 wifi systems on it and
there are 3 other providers about a mile away. From the cpe point of view,
they are almost the same site 10+ miles out.

I totally agree with Dustin here.
Hanging them without looking first is akin to running a stop sign. You'll
probably be fine, most of the time. But..
It doesn't take long to look.
Bob's right, things can and almost always do get missed. Dustin is also
right though, one should find

Hi All,
I've been asked to provide a network for a complex of buildings.
They like the ease of deployment and flexibility of a Trango based network.
I'll lock them into a 3 year contract that will match the time frame I'll
need for a bank loan for the hardware.
I'll need to put in 3 ap's
