and we nead some additional holes for our inhouse placement. I have never seen

Hello everyone.
One more off topic question from me. I got a mail from the reseller who sold

You are right when it comes to Blind vias. But a microvia is not only a blind
via. Because it is "driiled" by a laser or a similar process there are nearly
complete other requirements. One can chose the hole for a micro via between 0.05
and 0.1mm (2-4mil). The anular ring for
comment. But I
did not know about these Forum at that time so I never asked here. Perhaps some
of the "gurus" here do know a better way.

Michael,
the only thing I know near to your discription is the
"PCB:AutopositionComponentText" command, used to automaticaly arnge the
designators and comments of the selected Components. It is found under
Tools | Interactive Placement | Position Component Text.
Or should be there.

Jun,
assuming you are jusing Protel 99SE, there is the way by using Design| update
schematic from the PCB menu. You will get a popup where you can preview and
edit the changes.
Hope this helps,

just one more informotion: my Fab-house told me I should not tent vias complete.
It couse problems because the soldermask will burst open during HotAirLeveling

Hello out there,
I am currently working on a design based on an older one. There are a lot of
parts in the Schematic that should disappear. After deleting them in the
Schematic I updatet the PCB and found, naturely, a lot of tracks with no Net.
Now here is my Problem: trying to s

Hello all,
Me Again! Hope I can explane my Problem without to many spelling or speaking
mistakes.
I try to layout a board where two Problems apear who seam to cause each other,
and I can not find a workaround.
1. I need to tent my vias half (gap -5mil)
2. I need to set them free

Brad,
Ian is right. I remember I pressed the default button after changing the
display order to set it to its default. Hope you don´t used it till now. The
only way to set the changes back seams to be by manually changing the .INI file.
and thats very easy with the list Ian send to us.

Mr. Baggett,
some answers for your questions 3 and 4.
My experience is either to tent the vias only half or tenting them with
selkscreen (if this is the right word for the lacquer used to show the
component-positions).
