Tom, before you do anything you should consult with Fred Street of this List,
Fred sourced all parts and materials for my 37 and was extremely helpful in
installation information; his contact is Post Audio; (Fred jump in here with
the proper contact info);

Sooo, not being in the business, what is the value of lead? and what would

You could buy on of those Craig's list C and use the mast, sell the lead
from the keel, and make money on the deal...

I have noted all of the responses with interest, (because I am looking at
replacing my cable soon), but I haven't seen any discussion of whether it is
appropriate or prudent to use dyneema vs the original steel cable, any thoughts
from the "pros" on the list?

Stephen, assuming you have a 150 or thereabouts, you can point as well
sheeting from the toe rail as with a track, and with a lot less bother...I won
a lot of hardware doing just that with my 25-II;

That is awesome, I would sure like to have that information for my 37.; I
have all of the spec sheets and drawings information from the Great Lakes
museum for the 37, does anyone know of any other source? (the build file for my
boat is no longer available).

I am in the middle of doing exactly what Dennis describes, except we are using
Gflex for the faring; doing so on recommendation of local guy; no prior
experience with it;

Help! I am working on the torque for my keel bolts; (1985 37 CB); I am having
difficulty in two areas; No 1. finding a deep well socket for tightening the
keel bolts; my problem seems to be the size of the bolt; (or more likely, my
poor measuring); I measure the bolts at 1 3/32; no one
Robert; do you dock in a marina? Is there current or other force on the cleat?
What other lines are you using in addition to the rail mount cleat? Thanks
