Hello,
when listening to a playlist from Spotify (thru the use of Spotty) and
trying to add a bookmark in the context menu (ÂAdd bookmark for current
playlistÂ) nothing happens and the there is no entry in the bookmarks
menu.
Is this a known issue or am I doing something wrong?

Now this is weird. I installed a squeezeserver in a new Ubuntu Server
17.10 installation and ... the plugin works without a problem.
You are now the third user with this problem and i am not able to
reproduce it. The important rows in the log are:

The squeezeserver starts the playback before it has finished building
the playlist. And this prevents my plugin from jumping to the bookmarked
track.

I've only just started using this plugin and seem to have the problem
that some others have had in the past, where the bookmark always starts
the album from the first track. I was trying to use the bookmarking on
an SB radio, but controlled through the web interface.

Thanks for the update & no worries: Since i consider this plugin
"feature complete" it requires only very little maintanance. So it's
good if from time to time i have to get my hands dirty with the code
before i start to forget everything about it :->

and reinstalled it directly with Pinkdots version 24.

What I see in the log is one of the following lines, almost whenever
there was Bookmark activity:

I don't know exactly which update breaks the function.
Please check whether you can grab some log file. What kind of URL are

Solving the problem here is a lot better than tackling it with Docker.

I haven't known since when, but bookmark doesn't want any more. He
creates the bookmarks, but he always plays the albums from the
beginning.

on a Pi2. While Volumio doesn't have a bookmark plugin, it does report
the correct track length: a total of 1365:17 min/sec. I don't know what

The file is MP3. I use mp3wrap to bind multi-file
7 hours is 25200 seconds ...
maybe try something over 10 hours or over 19 hours to test 15-bit and
16-bit integer limits.

smaller files - even if they were 30 or 60 minutes in length? I don't
know if a file size limitation applies but the file size seems too
unwieldy to me.

month or so. Everything working just fine. That was until I added an
audiobook with a single large file. The file is 1.3gb and +32 hours
long. I've tried tweaking every option in the plugin's setting but still

I think stop might be safer than pause to assure the correct placing
of bookmarks that are used across several devices on an LMS server. In
case anyone is unsure, stop can executed by pressing the device power
button having first set Stop at power off in LMS Settings >> Device >>

support seeking - which is required for this plugin. Spotty does (if
you're running a recent LMS 7.9.1), Qobuz does not. Other sources depend
