Ctrl+Z doesn't work as you might expect in Maya.
It seems that 1 click or 1 option change may produce series of commands and
Ctrl+Z reverts only the last one, so in consequence you may have to do it
several times to go back where you need.

I'd like that one too. Although my original mesh came from Realflow, I
somehow couldn't transfer velocity attributes in Houdini to mesh for MB to
work in Maya Redshift.

What I gathered about Maya so far is that every function in one way or
another leads to a hotkey Alt+F4 (the fast option).
Also, when it crashes, I noticed it is faster to kill the process then wait
for all the notifiers to appear (your maya crashed window x 9000). A tip
for you'all.

Hey Ognjen,
I have a quick question. I use Redshift since alpha and Houdini only for a
year.
Now I am starting to combine the two.
I have a scene where I scatter -> copy/stamp objects on a couple of streams
of particles (I take V and Torgue only from Particles) to have RBD.
I was asked to include
... to add to this. When we import alembic into maya with UVs, Maya
sometimes adds second UV map (empty) and sets it as primary. It can't be
deleted. We tried. You can't use the proper one either. All we do is copy
UVs from one to the other for it to work. Maya sets new level of dumb.

When I setup renders in Maya, the first thing that struck me was, when you

I figure, you just have to be mindful of what your doing. That's it.
I'd like to know if there is a hotkey to run a setup if it's in a manual
state.

What pisses me off the most is that Autodesk thrives on industry pipeline
dependence and inability to instant switch. Finances, knowledge base,
sentiment, artist base are reasons why it is so simple for Autodesk just to
keep everyone in check. All big and small studios are committed to keep the
