built-in Finale "export to PDF" function -- printing to an external PDF
printer won't have those mistakes.
I haven't tested the Microsoft PDF printer, but I know that many of the
independent PDF "printers" such as CutePDF produce small and effici
u can then add
the correct accidental and hide it if you need to in order to get proper
playback and still have it appear correct on the page.

I had been trying to say that but had forgotten the procedure using
an Playback
ignore the recorded MIDI data for Continuous Data, Velociy, Start/Stop
Time, Tempo. If any of those have been changed to "Incorporate Data"
then try changing those.
I hope others chime with advice -- this can be such a frustrating problem!

Place the note on the note where you want the courtesy accidental and
hit the * key. That places an accidental on the note. If you want it
in parenthesis place the cursor on the note and hit the p key.

e it seems to
me that it's the importing function in Finale which might not be working
properly if you've already tried two different scanning programs and you
get the same error message both times.

back (if you have a sound library which actually has a contrabass flute
patch) with the correct sound at the correct pitch.
