Have you tried playing with her? I always collect goose feathers when they
molt and tape on or two to the end of a long stick and use it to stroke
feral cats. At first, they hiss and swat at the feather (depending on their
socialization and tolerance), and eventually, they enjoy it...I stroke

We are all supportive of anyone who rescues, deals with unwanted and/or sick
cats, fills their homes with discarded animals! I cannot tolerate people
who are hypocritical about animals; pretending to love them, and then give
them up at the drop of a hat even if it means abandoning them outside to

I would do it, but cannot because cats get adopted; I cannot take even the
slightest chance that one of our cats could infect someone's cat by one of
ours.

I didn't realize that this is what happens with FeLV vaccines? That's
terrible - it means that an abandoned or given up cat could tests positive
but only from a vaccine - I know it's the case with FIV Ft. Dodge vaccines,
that's why many vets don't like it very much!
