On my G4 Sawtooth I have internally 2 ATA drives and one SCSI.
Some months back I swapped out one of the ATA's for a bigger drive -
and must have done to something to the SCSI. It no longer shows up on
the desktop, or Disk Utility; but in System Profiler I see this,
(below) but no more.

shaped ... so I tried to reshape the one I had moved from 3 to 4.
That left 1, 2, 3 empty, 4 re-shaped and the rest untouched.
I would suggest finding a source for new jumpers ...

I read in another G3-G5 thread that someone suggests switching to
individual jumpers (like the ones found on the ATA and older
only kill applications you own, that is,
running under your account.
Another way to kill major app's like Textedit, Mail, Excel is to just hit the
option-Command-Esc keys to bring up the Force Quit Applications window and
kill the offending app from there avoiding Terminal all together. --glen

folder as the Classic system folder. As Bruce posted above.

You don't have to join, just search Retr0bright and Retrobright it will
reveal a number of posts, along with other alternatives to fixing discoloring.
