I don't have much idea about the smb-gateway stuff - not a method I use
- and I have rarely used the Server Address in the Connect to Server
method (and that was a long time ago).
So I'm just throwing up a couple of ideas here - and apologies if it is
not really
ingle good connection between there and the NBN box –
how easy this is to achieve really will depend on the actual
physical configuration and accessibility of your existing
network/cabling.

needs! - however ongoing compatibility constraints meant that I galloped
into the future that was El Capitan!
No doubt, at some time, I will need to buy new hardware and upgrade to a more

Just a thought - are the iPhones on post-paid plans with the same service
supplier as the landline?
If they are then it is possibly all the same problem - the supplier (or their
automated account software) has shut/paused the account for some reason -
should be easy to check with
the migration process.

I know this has been covered before but probably bears repeating:
When Peter says check the sending address - you need to actually examine the
headers in the message source - it is very easy to just "SPOOF" the "From"
address to match any address. This is a common spamming technique to
rsion of Mojave
before proceeding. Reminder: turn OFF automatic updates of the MBA OS before
the migration task begins!
