Word I heard was they lost some key staff to MT. Seems they lack backup people with the quals and experience . In their system the authorities have a name attached to them. As I understand it the UK agent has the quals to do overhauls and I mean the whole nine yards leading edge strip and all.

Check for oil leaks from the rear crankshaft seal as that is usually the cause. Ultimately the thing breaks down to very small parts and vanishes to the bottom of the accessory case. Once that happens the engine gets really hard to start and loses power due to the ignition timing retarding many

It depends when it was built as to whether it originally had car fluid or hydraulic oil. The Cleveland brake systems come fitted with bn seals (nitrile) and yes as Rob says the seal will break down with the auto product. The G109 for instance uses auto so you have to change the seals over

Damn I spoke too soon. The wing is off a HK36R not a HK36TC. So it has Glass spars instead of Carbon so 12KG heavier and no winglet facility. Thus the search continues. Nige.

Yep. It's more annoying on final approach. Slowing down seems to fix it when that happens. With age the spoilers warp. Probably also why yours has had a second spring added to the spoiler for closing. From Rob's and my experience it is due to the rear edge of the spoiler catching on the rebate
