I know this isn't an FIV group but I thought I might be able to find some
helpful info. I have two cats that have leukemia and I've been through
lymphoma and cancer with several of the positives. This time it is my FIV+
that is having trouble. About a month ago, we noticed a large swelling
I have an FeLV kitty that out of the blue one day couldn't stand up. She
leaned and fell to the right. If I leaned her up against an ottoman, she could
walk in a circle clock-wise, but if she moved away from the ottoman, she fell
down. The veterinarian had no idea what it was, and attributed
and he knows that. He was so lucky to
have you and you him. Hoping you find comfort in all the wonderful memories
you have of Dexter.

The way I read it is they take in cats that are in dire straights and have made
provisions for FeLV's and FIV's. It looks to me like they ask for the large
donations if you have a pet for which you want them to take

is not that common so I'm
curious how many others have come across it in. All my cats have had numerous
blood smears done (every 6 months for the past 5-6 years) and have never shown
any sign of hemobart.
