Who is it the said you can tell a lot about a society by how people in it
treat animals. Such disgusting cruelty. If there is reincarnation, guess
who's going to be the prey in their next life? Maybe that way, they will
learn a modicum of compassion.and slowly it will change.

I'm sorry for the loss of your beloved BreAnne. Now she suffers no more.
I love Rumi and what you've written makes a sense in this circumstance. You
took her there, then - when it was 'time'-- brought her home.
Bless you both.

This is a huge problem: " being a rural area no one neuters their anmals,
just let them breed and then give the babies away"...
If I could provide funds for animal welfare the majority would be to
free/low cost spay and neuter! Preventing suffering is easier than
eliminating suffering.

If money isn't the problem, why not contact the Humane Society or another
non-profit animal organization. You could leave your property to the
organization with the stipulation that your animals be cared for (and you
could define what that means). If you are wealthy enough, you may even

So sorry for the loss of Black Tom. Each cat is special and their life
counts. It is so difficult to tell when to intervene sometimes. I hope his
helper comes to see it is not her fault, and to appreciate the times they
spent together.
Peace.

Just an update on that little "feral" cat I took from my dear aunt's house..
After going to Forgotten Felines for spay (already spayed), partial tail
amputation and general health check, "Hemy" lived in a pen on my deck for
nearly a month. I would get my upper body in the pen and we would have a

I'm so sorry to hear you lost Mooshu. I know grumpy cats -- and god bless
them! They usually have good reason. I'm sure your Mooshu knew you cared,
and he purred his gratitude.
May you both find peace.
