in single player, you might have the computer get damaged on certain parts causing certain things. EG. the bullet smashes the fan. the pc heats up and, say, loses 1 hp per turn. The CPU gets hit. the pc goes stupid and it forgets about his gun and health restores. I could think of a few more,

well this is getting weirder. I installed direct x first by mistake. when that finished I installed .net 3.5. then I reran teh setup and I think it did do something. then I started the game still crashing. I ran its setup and it's still crashing. I am gettin' very annoyed now. this is the only
