Somewhere on my set of pages, I draw multiple ground object (using one or
more of the Protel styles) and give each one a net name corresponding to the
various grounds on the schematic. I then connect them all together, and
Protel resolves the names. It works fine.

Does anyone have a good procedure for PCB panelization? I've tried it in
Protel (99SE), and it wants to connect all the nets (which I understand).
When I try it in Camtastic, there is a lot of router and mousebite info I'd
like to add but it doesn't seem like a natural place to add that stuff.

Thinking that Protel 99SE could import autocad DWG files, I tried to drag
and drop a DWG onto a fresh DDB recently created and empty.

Our experience with MELFs seem to be of no big deal I forgot the foot
print I've used, but it wasn't anything too unusual and the resistors were
placed (and soldered) perfectly.

This has been a little screwy for a long time. UNTIL they fix it, you'll
have to rename the 2 digit files such as:
.g1 -- .g01
That allows the gerber read back to get them all.

Vague description? It was simple, accurate, and to the point. It didn't
work.
I didn't say a hole kinda sorta near a particular size wasn't selected. I
said a known hole size couldn't be selected.
Anyway, I just reloaded the holesize.bas file and it's fine now.

Don't forget XP Pro is the next version of Win2000. Protel should work
with it at some point. Not that I'm going to move to XP because I've got too
many PCs that I alone use and I'm not giving MS money for each one of them.
