Volks,
I know this is no place for a blatant commercial message, but I told a
friend I'd help. He's having to give up a '73 Daytona MiGi kit car, an
attractive counterfeit of an MG TD made by Daytona Automotive Fibreglas.
It's on a SuperBeetle chassis, runs well, but needs a new top and a few
Normally that light would have no bulb in a non-automatic car. Odd...

You shluld not need to remove the speedometer. The pilot lamp is reachable
in my '70, though you need to move some relays, etc., unless you have very
tiny hands. The socket can be used for a pilot light for other things, too,
you know. (I use it as a pilot light for my police spotlight.) The
finish left by the stippling of the thick roller is not perfect
squares, but it takes a very close look to see a difference. The vinyl
coating it leaves is quite tough, flexible, and resistant to scuffing. And
if it should get scratched up, you have the touchup paint waiting.

Please ask your computer to stop telling me things I don't understand. Just

Volks,
I've been getting (a) practically no list traffic and (b) cryptic messages
from San Jose that I'm not sending the right strings or something. Anybody
else having problems?

Hi, Erin (and everybody),
You've got to remember that every state, county and town in Germany was
pretty strapped for cash for a good 20 years following the end of WW2. The
Volkswagen was a purchasing agent's dream: Nobody could touch them in
price, and their cheap maintenance and misely fuel
How do you say Upscaling auf deutsch?? 8^)
