This is great, but I'm still not understanding how I'd use the GPIO pins other than take this little thing, buy this other thing and plug this here. What? Where? Why? Lol.Any parts for the most part, I can source with ease all day long, though putting them together for use with the pi is what I need help with.I'm not comfortable throwing away $35 so I want to make sure I don't fry the pi, even though baking pie is good. Especially the smell of it. I mean the food item, lol.

It is not the Hebrew influence that affected Islam, nor the culture. We Muslims believe that all the profits who had the same message to give were true and believed by the Muslims, whether Adam, Abraham, Yunus, Moses, Jesus and profit Muhammad peace be upon them all.So if Islam took some things from hebrew, it is nothing bad. It is the correction of religion, because as God sent the profits and we believe in them, so their religions must be true too, it is just about the period of time. And about the strong religion that makes a strong communication with God, the issue here is according to Islam all those religions have been killed over the time, with the lies of unknown preachers. According to Islam bible was not written by Jesus, not even by his students, because Mathew, Luke, or John, were ways ways away from Jesus. They were not alive at his time. And each of their gospel has another point of view. Wheras Quran is only one and has never been misrepresentated or changed since the time it was revealed.So, judaism and christianity are not wrong religions, they were true at their times, but quickly it changed. We believe that Jesus is superior than profit Muhammad and that God brought him to the sky to safe him. As mentioned in Bible, chapter of mark. “I am with you for only a short time, and then I go to the one who sent me. You will look for me, but you will not find me, and where I am, you cannot come.”So it means God, must have saved him from the Jews. And he wasn't crucified and they searched for him but couldn't find him. All these religions have been changed over time into a new looking, except Islam. The torah, the Bible, are just untruthful nowadays. We believe that there was a true bible, but it died in the previous existance of Jesus on the earth, and then people started to misrepresentate it. That is why the princibles of believing in Islam is to believe in Allah's books, Quran, Injeel and Torah. the Injeel was supposed to be the true bible and not the bible which christians have now. Even the jews misrepresentated their religion and changed it, and became more enemy to Muslims, and a lot of them denied the miracles of their profit, so we believe in those old tstiments which sadly we can't find now, and the only last revolution and true one is QuranYes, bible really might have some, just some of Jesus's sayings, and we are not against it, we are just against the contradictions that the Bible state, and there are too many of them.

Ramblings from me about the game.Upon launching the game for the first time, I heard a door closing and nothing else. I tried some debugging with no avail. This lead me to the conclusion I had somehow been banned from the game, which was strange. After contacting a developer, I hear that the game automatically exits on discovery of the existence of an installed cheat engine. This is perhaps the dumbest method of prevention I've seen. I use cheat engine for more than just cheating games thank you very much. also I'll have you know a simple renaming operation is all that's needed. Have fun with your uncheatable game, oh and maybe add some sort of message warning users of your pathetic system. Maybe while your at it check for a debugger on the users system because you know, malicious!The translation seriously needs some work. We, as end users, shouldn't have to use translation software just to figure out how to do basic things. It's more than happy to tell you to read the rules, but nothing about /rules what so ever?Now for the stolen code aspect. I'm gonna be very, very blunt here. On the one and only positive note, I can see the developers and administrators have put quite a bit of hard work and dedication into creating maps, which can be fun to explore. Or at least as fun as you can get with a sidescroller.I've played a lot of ultrapower, and unfortunately took time I'll never get back to know the codebase. When playing this game, I don't know or care what anyone's told, I see up written all over it. Many might want factual evidence to back this up, however without code proof is usually impossible, unless I can come up with some old bug. But still, that's not guaranteed. IMO all the proof you need is in the countless recordings of UP itself, BTB, CM, and the countless others like it.Many people seem to be blinded by the existance of new features. If you don't know what I mean, read posts 15 and the like. Ultrapower and everything aside, I'm glad there's a revolutionary new FPS that allows me to actually, wait for it, take a piss!I also don't want to see replies saying, "this shit again?", "moving on", "don't these complaints ever end?", "just don't play!". Your replies are nothing but an influx in the exact noise you think your preventing. I know many people play games, just because their games with no regard in the slightest because you know, what does it matter to them? I'm just hear to play. by reading this topic, post, you've been warned. The smartest people on the planet are often the ones who ask the most questions. The people who play this game and know about the possibility of cloning and stolen code are indirectly saying they don't care. Don't care about the hard work toward an original product, and comparatively small amount of work put forth by the one claiming to start something new. Don't care about anything other than playing a game because, they, find it a source of entertainment.In summary, it's a disappointment to see that time does in fact repeat itself. We'll most likely always see games like this popping up that follow the same principal of those before it. I won't be returning other than to check the status. the fact that someone can rip off another persons work and get away with it for this long is absolutely absurd, as the bold faced lie made by the developer in denying use of ultrapowers code. Truly sad is how the playerbase is pretty big, and growing by the day. I wish I could expect this post to be taken seriously, maybe I'm writing this only to here myself talk. But I do hope at least one person will learn a little something and actually make considerations.

The game is cool, but definitely not fully translated, so I'll pass. A good start would be to include the controls in english with the game...

Two things I don't like about the gate:- Nightmare difficulty is a hell mode where nearly, nearly nothing but the first three goblins are beatable. No more dreaming of ghost. it comes, you can call your next instakill.- There's a room where you're suppose to help someone there in the level with the zombie boss, and there're like loads of unreasonable mobs inside that even if you play easy, you have no chance to beat them.I agree about the gray lady being too hard to be the first boss, even though I can manage her without losing a life. Morgana is way easier, tbh.

I bet they still have registry hooks in your system, and the game is checking for these keys.Anyway, I played a bit, and the game is... well, I don't know, I wasn't expecting another damn side scroller, but its cool enough for what it is. I can't figure out how to get out a weapon, I have them in my inv, or at least it looks like I do, when I hit enter, I get some Portuguese message, if I hit space, I hear the sound, when I exit, its not firing no matter what I hit, even when I switch to punch which is the only number that does anything, I can't even do that. I got chucked in jail for using a fake pass port at the airport, then I got stuck in the room outside of jail, no doors I could find, the camera shows nothing I can jump over, and I can find no platforms with it, so idk wtf.

@8 and 10: I agree with both of you.Add the fact that enemies feel like they are floating, because it was decided their cries would completely replace their footsteps.And of course it culminates in the bosses shouting the same sentences over and over again, as if some of them weren't annoying enough already.And the predictable ending, and the fact that besides higher difficulties and survival mode you don't have much more to continue the experience, compared to some other games.The fact you can't anticipate attacks is a mixed bag for me. I like the surprise effect but when you have the sword you always do the same things to avoid attacks and kill the enemies. And you would better have that sword over that VGStorm knife, no range, no startup time, no recovery time, and no way my space bar deservs such a treatment.

here's my honest opinions on all of aaron's games, and I'm not going to sugar cote or exadurate any of this. If people don't like what I have to say, then that's fine, so here we go.AAC, I really enjoyed. It was nice and retro-sounding, there were some interesting challenges while playing through it along with the puzzles and various achievements, you actually had a sense of accomplishment when you finally finished it, plus there is some replayability with the difficulty levels and such. This goes without even mentioning the abilities of the stage creator, and stages like remnent put this to great use and showed just what could be done with it. To be honest remnent could have almost been considered a seperat game in its own right. Paladin was sort of a disappointment. I guess it just kind of... worked, no more than it had to. It could have really used some more sounds, at least footsteps and a few battle sounds. The battles in general felt very empty and generic. Enemy descriptions and spell descriptions would really have been nice. Also the story seams to just be full of random things glewed together in strange combinations. For example, there seams to be a decent security presents around on the paladin, however they apparently aren't compitent enough to clear out the casino, they overlook a teleporter leading to a gangster hideout, and they totally miss the huge drug making operations being conducted right under their noses. When transitioning to a new area, it often felt like the story was randomly being thought of as the game was developed. Whenever new areas were needed aaron would just slap on a new random piece to the story and hope it fits together.Psycho strike is mostly a lot of unused potential. Mark my words when I say that if done right, it could have gone so so so many places. It was a really fun thing to pass the time with when it first came out, and if you're playing it for the first time it can be quite cool to discover all the weapons and try things. However, there's so much it could have done, but ended up not doing. It was originally advertized as a first person game, which is not correct. But consider how awesome the game would have been if it were first person with actual objects you could run into and destroy rather than a simple side scroler. If not a first person view, a truely 2d game would have been awesome. You wanna escape the police for a bit? Go jump over the counter in the bar and take cover. Need a better position to snipe from? Climb onto an abandoned tractor in the farm. There was enough content in place for you to do things like a campagne mode. There is the system of setting a goal but a sort of story would have been a lot better. Overall, i think it should have focussed a little more on the gangster part, not on the senselessly killing part. How about drug runs? Kidnappings for ransum? Database hacking for liquid assets? Also, psycho strike's feature list talked about you having to manage your base. That is not actually a thing. Perhaps your base could periodically come under attack, and you'd have to defend it. You could do this yourself and also place things like mines or sentry guns to make it harder for invaders. From what I know, there were a grand total of 0 updates released for the game, even though when it first came out aaron announced more content being in the works. That content never came. Lastly, the AI is pretty easy to fool. There's a really simple trick that works most of the time. All you have to do is make sure there's an item near the entrance of whatever area you're in. Then when a cop comes in, you have to jump behind them. For some reason, if you're behind police, their AI will prioritize the item as long as its in their sight range, and will stop caring about you until they've picked it up. This gives you ample time to shoot them in the back while they carelessly run for the item, letting you stay alive a lot longer. For obvious reasons this is most effective when going solo because group members can get in your way and then things probably will get hairy quite quickly.The gate was in my opinion a rip-off. I have a few gripes about it, notably the story. In the beginning, you had one. However, as soon as you got past the vampire girl Whose name I forget, it just sort of stops until you reach the final boss and it just becomes an endless killing fest. There's no *real* strategy involved for most of the enemies. For the majority, after you get the sword its usually go right/left towards them, hit them as often as you can, then jump back, rince and repeat till they go away. There's no randomness to the levels, meaning that once you've played through it on easy or perhaps normal, you're basically done unless you play infinit mode. Speaking of difficulty, its very, very unbalanced. The gray lady shouldn't be the first boss in my opinion. It scares a lot of people off who might want to buy the game if the very first

since I'm not on my win10 laptop, which hosts the VM'S, but there's a utility, that fixes XP VMWARE audio issues. I found it with a google search last night. it runs in your main OS system tray, and sure enough, XP has no audio issues.

first, I'm completely dumb, when it comes to programming. I'm either too stupid, don't have enough encouragement, but so far, failed. yep, being honest is good for me. as for exclusions, just exclude the folder even though the EXE was deleted, and reextract, now that the folder is in the exclusions. now that that's done, you won't have an issue of the game being deleted.

@Dark I think the game tells you the possibilities when entering navigational mode. Another Thing that is never mentioned anywhere is you can always cycle through possible command Options by pressing Tab.

Hey everyone.So, I actually followed the steps that chriss has described in post three, but I am running into a slight problem there.I did everything as said, and everything worked so far.Problems start when I want to reformat the harddrives.I reboot for the advanced start options, click on USB device, choose removable drive, which is the name of the thing.Computer restarts, I start narrator, I am prompted to choose language, time and keyboard, strangely, I can actually just choose german as the installation language.When I click continue, I get a dialogue if I want to instal windows, I click continue, I accept the license agreement, and than I get a dialogue where I can choose normal or custom installation, when I click on custom, I just see the HDD drive in the list, not the drive where I had installed windows before, I did format that one, but I don't know what I should do after that because when I click on continue, it just stated that it can't set up a new partition.Does someone have an idea what the problem there is?Greetings Moritz.

When I download something, I never press the "save" button, but instead press arrow down on it to open the assotiated Sub menu and choose "save as". Then it'll never reach your download Folder.Note that this works for Internet Explorer. Don't know about other Browsers.

Okay the game now has a db page, though it's shorter than I would've liked since I didn't want to give any spoilers, I've given a link to Itch.io so people can find the demo though I've also put a link to the shop. steam is pretty terrible for accessibility and  so I'm glad there are purchase alternatives out there though I'm not %100 sure what you mean by "trading cards".I've now finished the demo and have a couple of questions. Beware! episode zero spoilage ahoy!). firstly I wondered how you actualy knew what was where on the map. Basically I had to type in random leters until I came up with the code of somewhere in order to direct Sam there. Secondly, I do remember reading in one thread that a couple of  were not included for accessibility reasons. One involving  redirecting Sam around robots would've been nice, but the one which really disappointed me was the confrontation with Soli on the ship. I was expecting something a bit hands on and bing! he's gone in a cynematic? was there another minigame there? I did notice a bunch of blocks (or they might have been letters), going read or yellow, so I wonder if there was some sort of tetris style puzzle  absorb Soli's memory/Just as a miner niggle, that one did feel a little bit of an anticlimax since I really would've preferd some way of dealing with Soli in a more hands on way rather than waiting for it to happen.Anyway I did really enjoy the game and will likely be picking up a season pass in the future.

yes the 30 dollar purchice is definitely one time, I bought my copy in 2010 and have been using it ever since on sevral machines. The only miner issue is the  need to change license keys when you change computers, but since Gma games has an automatic process for this it's not too much of a problem.

Funny Diegogaribay I've not had any games deleted instantly from downloads. A couple got stopped when I unzipped them or ran them, but not upon instant download. maybe your computer's security is set too high? I personally recommend going into "user account control" and turning the notification level down to zero, then you won't get programs like Crazy party constantly being blocked and once you've allowed an exclusion you should be okay.Alternatively, you could add your downloads folder as an exception.

hello there, I have a few questions about VIP mud. Is the 30 dollar purchase a one time thing? Is there a way to read more than the 9 lines with control-number, like if I want to read 20 lines behind, without going to the output window. Is there a way to save triggers? @Pitchermach, could you please give me a link to that selenzio program? I tried googling Stefan Kiss Selenzio, but the only page I found was in his native language. @@Ryok, they're a set from cambridge audio, though I'm not %100 sure of the model number at this point (I cshould check). I will say they really weren't cheap,  they cost £1600 (about $2400and that was on a deal with two extra speakers to put into the kitchen. I don't usually throw around this sort of money, but this I regard as part of getting my lady and I the house we want, and there are occasions when  dipping into life savings is necessary. Needless to say, I hope like my previous logitech ones these will last us a good 15 or so years.I haven't tried any audio described tv programs with them, but for music or conventional dvds they sound amazing so I see no reason that would change with audio described stuff, although things like the blindmice valt once where everything is in monno might be less good, though that is not because of the speakers so much  the quality of the recording, still as blindmice's stuff is free I can't complain,  well other than complaining about not being able to log in without going through the forgot password rigmorole each and every time .

I wouldn't necessarily say that creating a game is the hardest thing in the world, and neither is learning a programming language. (I've never considered BGT a programming language because the file extension does say "BGT Script" and generally because it limits you seriously on what you can and can't do without DLLs, and the DLL interface is overly complicated). No, the hardest thing you'll ever do, and fail at unless you're super-ultra-determined, I think, is writing your own operating system from scratch. Yes, learning a programming language is a chore. Go learn C++ and then tell me if Python is Easy by comparison -- I think you'll agree that that's true. But the cool thing is once you learn a programming language like Python, you can migrate to others like C++ or (god forbid) raw C with not much effort, only having to learn new syntax rules and new concepts. C++ was my first programming language I ever learned and lots of others have come easy to me since then.

thank you all for the info. I am aware that creating a game is probably one of the hardest things in the world. I have tried to learn BGT and yes it is very complicated. I did not mean to say that this is easy or that developers do not work hard. I just thought I would toss the idea out there. I know how hard you worked to create a basic game like that. Good to know you are learning programming. Thanks all for telling me about the folder exclusion idea.  Do you make your downloads all land on that folder. I know how to exclude but as soon as my computer finishes downloading it deletes my files before I put them in an excluded folder. have a good one and airships! for ever! lol

I don't know all that he's done for them, but that My Country Place is definitely only available on Leasey. Too bad, because it don't sound like a bad little game. Ah wel, if I never see another game from him, it won't bother me much. That is cool, I didn't know about it, it has fixed the issue I am having with my laptop. yes, if manufacturers would stop assuming what they think people will need, or if they just didn't close the channel abruptly, instead providing a 10ms fade after say, 3 seconds or something, you'd probably never notice.

I like the game, although I will certainly not deny that certain points can be brutally unfair, I'm looking at you, corridor of ghosts. I made it as far as the final boss but I had to quit because I spent as much time cursing and swearing as anything else. I never beat the game. I'm sure I'll pick it back up at some point but not at the moment.

The reason for this problem was already explained by others. One way you can fix it with something like Silenzio From Stefan Kiss of Eurofly faim. This is a tiny program that hides in your system tray whose only job is to keep your soundcards audio channel open, exactly for the reason you're running into as it's quite common with some laptops and especially Bluetooth headsets.

Hello guys, I'm expecting an early pre alpha release on the 23rd. I'd really appreciate it if I can get feedback with the new accessibility engine. The engine is very well built so any issues can be dealt with easily and quickly and I want to make sure this component of the engine is working well. I will not have any tutorials in the game due to it being pre-alpha, so please feel free to ask questions about any sort of concerns with what to do or what something means. Communication is key to being able to really make this thing succeed.As a reminder I'm no longer working on braillemon. Ah, good thought ironcross. It is odd though that it only seems to happen with screen reader voices, though some worse than others. I would be willing to bet though that the speakers probably have a setting to stop this happening so if you tell me exactly what is going on I can always asked the manufacturers as they're a nice bunch since I imagine there is a setting to turn this off somewhere. The ironic thing is auto config otherwise is actually rather nice, one reason why I didn't worry as much about buying a set of 5.1 speakers with a hugely complex audio control box that comes with an ever so friendly inaccessible display .

I wouldn't disagree that psycho strike probably reused game code from the gate, but in terms of gameplay I do find enough differences, e.g Psycho strike is far more based on multiple weaker  and button mashing, while the gate has fewer stronger enemies. All I wondered about was the difficulty curve, though Quaser does seem to be right from wht I played of the demo that things get masively easier when you pickup the sword. The grey lady actually I sort of like in a "wag!" factor. Yes, she'll take several attempts to win, but on the other hand she's almost a teaching tool, since the process of keeping at a distance, getting a hit, jumping over and then repeating is almost the way you seem to need to deal with most weaker enemies in the game from what I gathered. Voice acting could be better. Btw I didn't know that Aaron was now working for Leasy, if so that is a black mark at least from me, though we'll see when his next release comes out.

well keep us posted, and having some dark fey groves sounds fantastic!  and yeah, I keep running into bandits, dwarves, and merchants to the point that I am sort of getting sick of them. Not so much the dwarves as they are loaded with cash (though I'm not sure what I can do with the 200,000 gold pieces I currently have.  as most places I go have worse stuff than I currently own for my characters and  so I don't ever buy anything.Just a question though, is there any way you could insert descriptions into the badges so we know what they are for? I can guess for example that the hoarder badge you get for getting a ton of gold, but it would be nice to have specifics or even ways to say (you have the silver hoarder badge. You need a total of X gold to get the gold hoarder badge.) (just guessing at that.I also love achievements, so adding new ranks to old achievements or new types of achievements are all things I'd like to see, and a lot of people love achievements so I think they'd like to see them too.anyway, just keep up and post when you do stuff, and my love of this game continues to grow. as both my party grows and the game expands.

Hi,To be completely honest, I think Psycho Strike and The Gate were conceived from the same base project and taken in their different directions to release two games between the two big rpgs instead of just 1 side scroller. I do think The Gate came first not Psycho Strike (I could be wrong) but yes htere seems to be alot of shared code between the two projects, with Psycho strike having the rpg portion added to it and the gate the different enemy attacks and such.

Dark, I tried Palodin but got turned off by the unrealistic sound effects, ding for a wall, boop for a desk, bop for that and beep for this. If you want to sell me an immersive game, at least do me the courtesy of creating sound effects that at least try to make me feel like I'm actually there, instead of in some 80 retro video game!

Dear all,So, I've been interested in flight simulators for quite a while now. I know that there's a guy in this community who does live streams of flights, but I want to get started in doing these sorts of things. First, what would I need, and what would be the cost of such a thing? I don't know how to get Steam working on Windows, and I'm probably going to need Steam to get the flight simulator. What other software would I need to get the thing working?Second, is it truly realistic? I've seen several live streams, but how realistic is Microsoft's flight simulator when compared with actual flight? Would it be worth it to buy it?  Finally, would I need to buy a flight controller for this game? Is it absolutely required? Hopefully not, as I've heard that these can cost hundreds of dollars. Thanks very much for answering my questions, I have more than a little interest in getting started. Eurofly isn't doing it for me anymore, I want to experience what actual flight will be like on an airplane.

Hmm well, Manamon doesn't really borrow anything from pokemon, it sneaks up behind it, clubs it in the back of the head and robs it blind while it is unconscious.OK, the gate, in a sentence, its a frogging pile. The combat feels exactly like Psycho Strike. The voice acting is terrible. The levels lack ambiance, feeling mostly empty except for spots of random action. You will literally spend a lot of time with one finger down over the right arrow. The first boss is way too hard to be the first boss. I did get past her, but it took like 2 dozen attempts. I never completed it due to boredom with it, It couldn't even hold my interest long enough for me to reach um, what's her name, the second boss, Morgana or something?What it all comes down to is that the game feels extremely empty. If you're not gonna have enemies coming at you from all sides, that's fine, but make me feel the impending doom or the foreboding prescience that something is gonna happen. Give me sounds that sort of come to life in front of me, give me spots in the floor that creek as I walk over them. Give me jump scares, ghosts and ghouls, and other stuff  that just pops out in front of me. Yeah I will agree that jump scares are over rated and over used, but its harder to sort of build fear in other ways.When you couple that with the price, when there is no professional voice acting, and the combat code is copy pasta right from psycho strike, its over priced and arrogant to be asking that much money for the content, and mostly lack of it that is there. Well, I think we can determine that game dev is just a money grab for this developer, look at how he jumped at the chance to make games for Leasey, the most money grabbing scheme out there as far as audio gaming is concerned.My opinion of the developer in question is rather low though, so take this with a grain of salt.

It's not vocalizer, or the screen reader's issue, its your speakers and audio drivers trying to save power by closing the audio channel when its not used, which is highly absurd if you ask me. It then takes a 50th of a second to open it again, and then everything is fine. I'm almost sure this is what the issue you're experiencing is. Just as a process of elimination though, you could try other voices, whatever your orphius comes with by default, or eSpeak with nvda, as well as the windows one core voices. Do this just enough to tell if its the same thing, I'm willing to bet all voices will do this, though some may be a little better than others due to certain factors I'm not sure of.You know, I really hate audio equipment these days, I preferred it when you just set it up and it fucking just worked like it was meant to already. Not this, oh we wanna help you save power, look genius, if I wanted to save fucking power, I would have bought a $15 pair of Coby speakers alright? I hate this presupposed attitude where manufacturers think they can anticipate the needs of all of their end-users and lump them all into one bucket.This effect is more pronounced on bluetooth headsets or wireless ones. My Aftershokz do this, consequently, if you make an audio file that's like 10 hours of silence and just load it up in VLC or whatever player on loop, you won't have this issue. That is, if it is what I think it is.

Actually Orko I have all of Vgstorm's other games. Paladin of the skies is a great first draught. Yes, the battle system has it's lacks and  waaay too easy, also the story can be a  simplistic in places, but the locations, music and weird items give me enough for a good game, actually I've been considering replaying paladin.Psychostrike caused a huge controversy when it was first released with people calling it violent and evil and all sorts of other things, or complaining that it's not a propper game. The thing is Psychostrike never pretends to be anything other than what it is, a violent stress reliever. If you go in expecting basically an excuse to beat people up, grab weapons and go sort of nuts, you won't be disappointed. manamon is by far their best game. yes, it borrows a lot from Pokemon, however that isn't really a reason not to appreciate it. The writing has improved telling a story that has it's dark sides and unique characters (actually far darker than Pokemon's story), as have battle mechanics. My only problem with manamon is the enforced grinding to level your creatures, and the fact that the battle system is a bit opaque to those not familiar with pokemon at the beginning, and that you require a lot of grinding in places to level your creatures up. Then again, what do you expect from a creature rpg. it's partly because I have appreciated their work that I'm considering buying the gate, that and the fact that I was in an action/side scroller mood  played most everything in Crazy party and having just finished superliam, while not really wanting to start anything as overloading as bk3 (where I seem to be stuck on the flying level anyway).If you want a single recommendation, I'd suggest Manamon, though I would recommend checking out jayde's guide just to get a good overview of the system.Of course, I also need to get stuck in to A hero's call, but as when I tried I found the movement system a bit confusing I probably need to wait until I have the time and energy for that one.

Getting started with the raspberry pi?

Hey guys,For those of you who don't know what a raspberry pi is, it's basically a low cost, tiny computer. You can apparently do all kinds of things with it. And no, it does not run windows like your used to, it runs linux, mostly. Most of the blind tend to ssh into them, I believe. If memory serves me right the audio output is too unreliable to do anything useful.That aside, I don't yet own one, though I've been considering one since the 3b was released around two years ago. My question is this.Are there any resources written for the VI community I can read up on that will allow me to take advantage of the GPIO pins on the device? I would really like to use this thing to it's full potential, and I see it kind of silly of me to purchase it, since I already have a linux box, even though it, um, doesn't really do much, lol.99.999 percent of the tutorials out there regarding this tend to be diagrams and using LEDS with these devices, which is, well, kind of something I can't use, for obvious reasons. Lol.I still may purchase one, for nothing more than to use it as a web testing area, and or a NAS hub and retire the ol box.Your thoughts?

No it doesn't, however I suspect that if a blind person or a volunteer consistently gets a not good rating from connections to them, the Be My Eyes people would look into the reason and, if warranted, kick them out of the network.Aira also has a rating system with "Good" or "Poor" options, but they also provide a text box for you to explain your rating if necessary. It would have been nice if Be My Eyes did the same.

I played The Gate in demo mode on easy and could not get past the Grey Lady no matter what I tried, so I chose to keep my $30 in my pocket. Not only did the price seem a bit high, as all VG Storm games seem, why pay for a game that is so difficult even on easy that you'll never get to play the rest of the game?After my frustrating experience with The Gate, and seeing that all of VG Storm's games seem a bit over priced, I deleted the shortcut to their web site from my favorites, I don't plan to be buying anything from them any time soon.

As far as windows defender goes, it's fairly easy to solve anyway, I have a folder called audiogames on my harddrive which I've noted as an exception under Windows defender and everything I put there runs fine.

Several things:I'm glad there's still interest. To my knowledge, I've found everything in the game, and so everything I've found will be in that guide, including the side quest/hidden quests. I haven't gone through the game with every single class, though I've gone through with quite a few of them, including all the mage archetypes, necro, warrior, and ranger and rogue as the party characters, so I'll have information on those.I do plan on dividing it into sections, because otherwise it'll be a huge mess. I'll have to decide on how to handle tables and things for equipment stats, but that will be later.I wasn't planning on an audio guide, primarily because I don't really have the equipment for it; my mic is, to put it bluntly, pretty garbage.I plan on the structure having 3 or 4 primary sections, with smaller sections within -- the main quest line, side quests, equipment stats, and, if I'm feeling particularly dedicated, monster stats. I plan on farther splitting the main quest into the 3 mine/graveyard/forest areas, the side stuff into individual side quests, and equipment by general level range and slot. Of course I'll also have table of contents and credits and all the misc maintenance stuff common to guides.This will take a while, so I appreciate the interest and patience.

Issue #327 was "Dragons should be multiplexed differently". So we will, indeed, get Huge Ancient Red Dragons, along with Young Small Silver Dragons, and so forth. I have "Dragon Dens" on my list, and we need that variety to make it so all parties can encounter them.The aquatic monsters are mostly a place holder right now. You can meet some of them in swamps. But at some point I will introduce a ring of water walking and potion of water breathing. Then you can travel over water squares. This will be handy in the premium map, where there are oceans and islands.I was going to release it this morning, but in testing my first level adventuring party just meant 10 Treant, and got its butt handed to it. There was another parsing error that lead it the challenge rating for Treants 1 instad of 10! I think I'm going to do a little more testing first!In addition to 100+ monsters and the dragon varieties, there also will be Faerie inhabited Dark Groves as special locations. There's also a bug fix where monsters that occur in great quantities (e.g. bandits) were also biased to occur in great frequency and were crowding out other monsters of equivalent rarity. Overall this should create a greater diversity of foes to fight.I do hear you, Ironcross32. I try to split my time between game plot and game mechanics. Right now it's mostly mechanics, because that's easier to do with limited time. I need to shift focus at some point and do more plot stuff. It is just each time I think of some interesting plot point, I want another mechanic to support it!

The gate is actually 29 usd not 40. This is a relatively high  price it is true, though I'm afraid just saying "it is boring and the coder could've done better" doesn't explain much to me, EG is it boring due to uninteresting monster attacks or what? I do notice the levels are larger sizes, but hay the same was true of Superliam.

I'm not sure. It's not even that it sounds bad, it's just that vocaliser clips for some reason. I've tried the different audio output options in Nvda and got no difference.. I'm not sure about changing sound drivers since other than this the speakers sound fine. I'm just surprised that with the amount of people (especially visually impared people), who likely own 5.1 speaker systems vocaliser has this bug.

Oh, you know? the gate! this game is really, really really boaring. For me, it is. Like AAC, but AAC seems eeven 10 times better with it's content, difficulty, and voice acting? no, not that but the story, oh yeah. The price is unreasanably high! 40 dollars for that? no. EEven manamons price is too high for it. Saying things like i worked for it and bla bla, doesn't help it. It's my opinion, it's harshe i guess, but that's my thorts. The gate is boaring, really high priced game and eeven the mid bgt coder could do that witih no problems. who would argue?

Hi miziziziz, I was trying to play that game but somehow I am just able to go two steps ahead then I am hearing some sound ahead but I am not able to go and then I am hearing a wind in my right. When I am trying to turn right with my shift key then it's not working then I am trying by the q key but I don't know why I am not able to move. I wanted to give you a cupple of suggestions, 1. If possible then you can change the movement to the aero keys. 2. Map a key for going back from the inventory cause then we have to press escape and the game closes. I wish you good luck with this game!

The problem is I actually wanted these speakers for! the dolby thing so they're set on dolby anyway. I could adjust my computer's output I supposed and change it from Dolby, but that would be a miner pest whenever I do want the dolby. It's odd that screen readers have this issue.

@Quasar, I agree about the sword it makes life s much easier it's not funny, that is what I mean about attack range, especially since most enemies don't seem to have an attack sound or any way of actually avoiding their attacks, just a random chance of their attack triggering and damaging you when your in range meaning that the only way to stay out of trouble is effectively stay out of range which either means the sword or spamming arrows. Actually this was why I found The Gate preferable to AAC, though in AAc I got a little tired of how much I needed to hammer the spacebar for even basic enemies, that and the fact that some of the stages obstacles seemed a little whacky, though admitedly I probably need to sit down and spend a little more time with AAC than I have. In terms of ambience etc, there is a lot more that could be done even in terms of a haunted castle (castlevania anyone?),, but I will say I like the number of enemies and the fact that  your introduced to said enemies successively meaning there are things to discover as time goes on. Btw, I admit I probably ought to spend a little more time and patience on games generally. Super castlevania took me literally weeks of trying each world before I finished it, especially the final ascending clock tower, ditto with several of the Mega man games.

Well this is craaazy! I went back to chapter one to do some grinding and also pickup some companions and real estate to make my life easier and bing! there I suddenly find the legendary item I'd got three out of five journal entries for (I was trying to find enough lore items to get the other two). Of course this is very cool indeed, however annoyingly I only have three out of five journal entries for the item and I'd like to know it's history, but will have to spend lore items on unlocking the last two journal entries. Any chance of fixing it so that if you find a legendary item you get it's history? Either that or make unlocking the journal  give some sort of other benefit once you have the item.
