Hi, Here’s what you do. Turn on the new phone, and run through the first part of the Setup Assistant. Once you connect to your Wi-Fi network, there is an option to restore from an iCloud backup. It’s really easy, and everything is pretty much explained onscreen. Hope this helps, Jeffrey

An iCloud backup will give you everything--apps and all their data, home screen layout, settings, all that. The only things it lacks are secure items. That is, it won't give you your wifi passwords, logins for apps, and so on. It will be unaffected by iCloud Keychain for Safari; what I mean

Another question springs from that one: Which apps should we check to enable iCloud backup? If in doubt I check mine, but am not always sure which to go for. I guess the GPS apps that save POIs may be included ... or maybe not ... Anyway, if anyone uses ones that definitely backup to iCloud
