I'll talk about 4 to 6 comparisons.
What I saw in the transition from HD 4 to HD 6 was a
tightening up of the engineering behind it. Functionally, there is maybe

or 4. You had 32 MB for Windows and 64 MB for UNIX. It would save
the record with more than that, but would not re-open. Now that we have
about a 2 GB limitation, that's not a problem any more.

I agree with James, but in addition, if you're using Centralized preferences, I think you could plug a server alias name in the client settings that pointed to only the new server. Regardless, you'll also have to clear out the Recently accessed forms, etc that reference the old server name,
