heated. If you aren't wave
soldering, can you put the boards nearly edge to edge with no frame, just
tabs between them. You should check with the assembly house for other
assembly issues particular to your assembly.

nto a WORD document. If you have problems copying a SCH to
a Word document, you will surely have similar problems exporting that SCH to
ACAD.

alues, may rotate, change font size, change font when cutting and pasting
into Word. Sometimes it is quite minor, sometimes the pasted schematic is
almost useless. This also occurs if you export the schematic to Word using
Autocad export as a mid-step.

covering things by accident. This is
what pisses me off so much about Protel/Altium, what kind of support is
this? DXP is even worse, they barely had any documentation for it at the
start, a little bit better now by what I read. Still mostly incomplete
though.

suing because they lack a sense of responsibility for their own actions,
there is too much of that crap in the courts these days.

Rene,
Aj is talking of the Protel Service Pack 6 for P99SE. Updating Protel 99SE to
SP6 is highly recommended and there are no adverse effects to performing the update
that I know of.

Didn't mean anything to me either, so I knew I didn't have what AJ was looking for. We
aren't ignoring or isolating you AJ, we just don't know what you are looking for, so
we don't have the footprints either. Is possibly a matter your name for these units?
Sincerely,
Thanks for the links John but they came up stating they were for a page on the website
that "...isn't currently supported." What I did finally find seems to be some form of
a backplane?

So I see says the blind man. I thought it was just some reference text defining which

cally this much gold is
only used on mechanical contact areas like card edge connectors. It is typically
limited to selective plating in the required areas. For regular solderable areas a
gold flash of as little as 2 - 3 uinches usually suffices very well.
